Carbon Neutral Program

We have a long-standing commitment to sustainable development. It is clearly written into the company’s name since its foundation in 1969, and made concrete in a history that prioritizes the placing of a high value on the assets of our rich biodiversity.

Following this commitment has engaged us deeply in climate change. We have adopted the goal of neutralizing all Greenhouse Gas emissions – “GHG” – from our activities and products starting in 2007 with the creation of the Carbon Neutral Program.

The neutralization goal we have proposed, without waiting to see if it will be imposed legislatively or in terms of national objectives for the second period of the Kyoto Protocol (after 2012), is a simple extension of our commitment to the construction of a new model of doing business based on high performance in the economic, social and environmental dimensions.
